Leadership Practicum
You are invited to spend four fun-filled, leadership-intensive days in Vancouver, Washington.
God had a smile on His face in 2007 when six people gathered in a living room and dreamed about a church called Epikos. Now, weekend attendance is well into triple digits. An amazing percentage of those were unchurched until coming to Epikos Church.
We will spend our days together taking a look at the heart, the ethos, and the passion behind one of the most exciting new churches anywhere. Acts 2 speaks of “signs and wonders.” Who could imagine that we would have the chance to be part of the moving of His Spirit, watching God change one life after the other? We are in awe.
Do we have all the answers? Is Epikos Church a perfect model? Of course not. We are just getting started. And we are constantly in learning mode. Some of the ministry lessons we have learned, admittedly, came to us the hard way. This shadowing program gives you a chance to experience church like a guest, and then to poke your nose behind the scenes. To get up close and personal with the team that dreams, plans, prays, and makes it happen. To truly grasp the vision, the DNA, and the heart of the church.
Epikos is Mission Catalyst's first Pivotal Design church, and its leaders are eager to share the experience with you. During the four days, you will glean practical, take-home principles. You will hear what we’ve learned about developing the leadership gift and mobilizing people to own the ministry. We will expand your thinking, share some wisdom, and inspire you to go back and multiply your leadership effectiveness. Above all, we want God’s hand to unmistakably be on your ministry. Join us!
