Full Assessment Process
- Each planting team member affirms the Mission Catalyst membership commitments. Please mail us a signed copy.
- Each planting team member takes the free online Initial Screening Assessment.
- Each planting team member and spouse (if married) take the free online Relational Intelligence Assessment.
- Each planting team member and spouse (if married) take the online Leading from Your Strengths: Building Close-knit Ministry Teams profile. The cost is $26.95 per person. Please email us your results (PDF).
- Each planting team member and spouse (if married) take the 16 Personality Factors (16PF) Questionnaire. Contact us with your mailing address, and we will send it to you. The cost is $38 per couple, $36 per single. You may mail us a check or pay online.
- Each planting team member submits an application form.
- Each planting team member submits a reference form.
- Pay the registration fee ($375 per couple, $330 per single) by mailing us a check or paying online.
- Each planting team member and spouse (if married) completes a self-evaluation form.
- Each planting team member submits a recent sermon in audio or video format.
- Each planting team member emails us a recent photo of himself/herself and spouse (if married).
Additional information:
- Once at least three candidates are approved, the assessment team will connect all candidates and assessors by phone to set the date for the four-day assessment event. The dates must be at least six weeks from the time when the third candidate has been approved. The dates must be four consecutive days, one of which cannot be Saturday.
- The four-day event cannot happen with fewer than three candidates. If the event is canceled for this reason, the event will be rescheduled at a time when at least three candidates will attend. The registration fees of those who were not responsible for the cancellation will be refunded or applied toward a future assessment.
- When you make your travel plans, plan to arrive in time to relax and get settled. If you have children, please plan to make arrangements for their care while you are gone.
- All pre-work and registration payments must be received by Mission Catalyst at least 21 days before the four-day event. If a candidate does not complete all pre-work at least 21 days before the four-day event, assessment team reserves the right to consider that candidate’s registration cancelled and any registration payments non-refundable.
