STATUS
We are beginning to create an innovation platform that will bring together the most innovative ministry approaches anywhere. We are currently piloting this with 15 innovators who have made these commitments:
Pilot Mode
Commit to reading six books a year on change and innovation. Our first book is “Deep Change”.
Connect ten times a year via video conferencing for an hour and discuss what we are reading. Occasionally, we start with a 15-20 minute presentation from a ministry leader followed by discussion of the topic.
Attend a conference together once a year. The action cohort itself decides which conference to attend. The purpose is to huddle up and learn together and from each other.
Contribute to a growing wiki-database of what is working all across the fruited plain.
WE ARE LASER-FOCUSED ON CREATING THE CHURCH THAT JESUS HAD IN MIND.
Jesus made this announcement to His disciples, “I will build my church, and the gates of hell will not prevail against it.” What did Jesus have in mind about the church when He said that? We’re pretty sure that most of today’s churches would barely qualify. What is your answer? It should be unique. Don’t try to copy and paste someone else’s. When you wrestle with and write out what that means to your ministry calling, the kingdom is broader and God’s call on your life is clearer.
The innovation platform will be laser-focused on creating that church, the church that Jesus had in mind. We commit ourselves to working with you to make that happen.
